Optometry Care at Reliant Medical Group
Reliant Medical Group optometrists provide expert eye care for children and adults, including vision examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye problems, and complete follow-up care.
All Reliant Medical Group optometrists are highly skilled at checking the overall health of your eyes and providing prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses. While performing eye exams, our optometrists check for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and other typical vision problems, as well as perform tests that can uncover sight-threatening diseases of the eye, such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.
All of our optometrists work closely with our ophthalmology department, and can easily refer patients who may require surgical treatment or other specialized medical care for cataracts, macular degeneration and other diseases of the eye. Reliant Medical Group ophthalmologists are highly experienced eye surgeons dedicated to utilizing the most advanced technology available, including Ocular Computerized Tomography (OCT), YAG lasers and other tools.
The American Optometric Association recommends a yearly eye exam, not only to detect vision problems but also to safeguard eye health. Some dangerous eye diseases, such as glaucoma, can only be detected early through regular eye exams. An eye exam should be considered an essential part of your yearly health check-up.
Each of our Reliant Medical Group Optical Centers are staffed by optometrists and licensed opticians, so you can see your eye doctor and learn about the latest frames and lens options in the same visit. With eight convenient Optical Centers throughout Central Massachusetts, Reliant Medical Group makes it easy for you to take care of all your eye and vision needs.
